ADHD

I know there are a lot of ADHD diagnosis out there but I KNOW Hunter is the definition of ADHD. This may sound familiar to some of you, as well!

In 3rd grade Hunter "LOST" his coat in 30 degree weather...how is that possible, you didn't notice it was cold outside when you came out of the school building???

Now, many years later and hundreds of incidents....Hunter loses ear buds for his ipod DAILY....We buy those in bulk. LOL
Hunter was sent $20 cash in the mail for Christmas. I told him to go to the front room to get a thank you note. After several days of Hunter searching....I finally found the missing $20 under the box of stationary that was still sitting out. Of course, this was one of my first questions "did you check in the your room?" Really, you didn't put the money in your pocket or put it in your wallet? This is our Hunter...his mind is too busy thinking what he's going to do....I don't know any teenager that wants to lose $20!!!

I am hoping that we have a lot of maturing in the next 2.5 years and he can keep up with things better. The military isn't going to like if he shows up for work without _____ (fill in the blank)!!

Don't get me wrong, I love Hunter and he is God's gift to us!!!!! God, Hunter and kids like him have really opened my eyes to issues that I never dreamed about!!!

Happy Holidays!!!

As I post this ecard, I realize that I haven't posted anything all year. One of my New Year's resolution is to update the blog with our family happenings MUCH more often in 2013!!! To catch everyone up, we will be going to New Orleans to spend Christmas with Jeff and his family. We love Jeff "Grandpa" but we or I am going to see the girls...Lisa, Amber and the new member of the family....BRIELLA!! Amber had Briella in August and she has been the light of our lives!! Paul, will be coming home this week to meet his new daughter. He is currently stationed in Korea until June, 2013. Briella is being Christened this Saturday, December 21st. I will try to get more pictures of Bella on next week. Sorry to make this so short but I am busy trying to finish up Christmas cards, wrapping and packing!! :) Happy Holidays and check back soon!!!
